Vibrant Patterns That Redefined Kitchen Towels

The interior shop "black&white," known for its contemporary lighting, furniture, and textiles selected from around the world, has received a shipment of vibrant kitchen towels.

The design is by Kitty van der Mijll Dekker, a designer who studied textiles at the Bauhaus. "The color is strong, it's easy to wash, and it's durable. It can be used by many people." In the Netherlands during the 1930s, amidst wartime, she designed these with such wishes in mind.

At that time, towels with beautiful damask patterns were expensive and far beyond the reach of ordinary citizens. Amidst this, she created towels that many could use by changing the weave and colors, offering colorful and sensational textile designs for household goods.

And even today, the design remains beloved, its colors undimmed. These thick, soft-touch kitchen towels will surely add a splash of color to your kitchen when hung.
