ARABIA is launching a new series, "Huvila." "Huvila" means "summer house" in Finnish and features gentle pink wild roses. This vibrant pattern was created by designer Heini Riihiaho, inspired by the landscape of her grandmother's cottage, as one of the designs for a mug celebrating Finland's 100th anniversary in 2017.


Heini focused on ARABIA's old decorative techniques, using freehand sketching methods from the 1920s to depict the gentle pink wild roses blooming profusely in a summer house. While exuding a vintage atmosphere, it elegantly and sophisticatedly expresses its presence as a contemporary work. This time, in addition to the mug released in 2017, a total of six items are planned, including five basic items such as bowls and plates.
