Playmountain, an interior shop that presents a unique worldview through both original and curated items, operates under the concept of "Man Made Objects."

The mugs and tumblers that have just arrived were commissioned from ceramic artist Ian McDonald, who resides in Oregon. Ian has held three exhibitions in Japan and is a rising artist currently based at the Cranbrook Academy of Art's Artist-in-Residence program.


While his work has often featured a sculptural approach, Playmountain's curation has resulted in the creation of unique yet practical products. The distinctive texture, the satisfying weight… starting the day with these cups would surely bring great happiness. Porcelain.
