Produced with "Direct Vulcanization," a Rare Method Among Vulcanization Processes

Hokkaido-born rubber boot brand "Daiichi Rubber" launches. The newly released "RAKA" is an updated design based on the long-selling "Rice Planting Boots" from Otaru City's established manufacturer, Daiichi Rubber. It is made using the vulcanization process, which bonds materials through heat and pressure, and specifically the "direct vulcanization" method, which is rare today. Steaming the boots results in a softer, more durable finish.

The deeply grooved, grippy sole performs well on any surface, making it suitable for a wide range of uses from daily wear to fieldwork like gardening. The boots can be folded when the belt is removed. Beyond enjoying the color changes and design that develop with age, their excellent durability means they can be cherished for a long time, making them a worthwhile purchase. Scheduled for release in late March.
