MoonStar, a shoe manufacturer based in Kurume, a city renowned for its rubber industry. HIGHTIDE, a stationery maker whose concept is "spiritually fulfilling craftsmanship." Both companies, based in Fukuoka, have collaborated to create a case for the goshuincho (temple/shrine seal record book) of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, a historic shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane.



The main body is made from MoonStar's original durable Vulcanized Cloth, also used in their sneakers, with an added special inner coating for enhanced durability. The fabric's natural crispness is utilized to create a simple design formed by folding, rather than sewing.

Beyond its use as a goshuincho case, it can also serve as a multi-case for bank books or stationery. Available at the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine Information Center.
