Germany's quintessential tableware series, "TC100" | Hans (Nick) Roericht
Hans (Nick) Roericht
Unassuming, strong, beautiful, and utterly serene.
The "TC100" tableware series was designed by Hans (Nick) Roericht in 1959. Roericht studied at the Ulm School of Design in Germany, which inherited the fundamental principles of the Bauhaus, and this is what he presented as his graduation project.
The Bauhaus concept and the designer's philosophy are sublimated into the product, which is now part of the collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
The series includes a coffee cup, coffee mug, free cup, saucer, dessert bowl, and soup bowl. All pieces are stackable. The products, embodying both sincerity and beauty, blend gently into daily life.
