The Latest Outdoor Furniture: Coast New Zealand
An attempt to watch the America's Cup yacht race in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf from a yacht revealed a lack of comfortable seating furniture at the time.—After various trials and errors, developers Nicholas and Alex Webster created Coast New Zealand, outdoor furniture using Sunbrella, a high-performance, water-repellent marine fabric.

Practicality Meets Timeless Modern Design
Nicholas and Alex Webster's development concept is: "To make outdoor living as comfortable and stylish as indoor living." Coast New Zealand is an outdoor brand founded in New Zealand in 2004, handled in Japan by importer Outscape.
Coast New Zealand's outdoor furniture features an innovative structure that evolved from beanbag cushions for comfortable outdoor seating, using 5mm diameter spherical expanded polystyrene (EPS) beads (recyclable) as the filling. The Coast Isla series offers a stable structure with a non-wobbling backrest, conforming to the body for a relaxed posture. It is also lightweight, easy to move, and stackable for convenient storage. The covers are made from outdoor-grade Sunbrella fabric, known for its resistance to harsh environments like saltwater, UV rays, and sea spray, combining aesthetics with functionality.
It is widely used in superyachts, hotels, resorts, commercial facilities, and private homes in areas bordering the Mediterranean Sea, New Zealand's lakes, and coastlines with private marinas. It also serves as an official supplier for the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series.
This outdoor furniture allows you to fully enjoy outdoor life amidst beautiful nature, regardless of the location – be it sand, soil, decks, tiles, artificial turf, natural grass, or concrete. We draw attention to this collection that combines excellent durability with a stylish, luxurious feel. A bag collection made from the marine fabric Sunbrella is also available.
Coast New Zealand is sold at "circle tokyo," a shop in Aoyama, Tokyo, with the concept of "The shop that links the world."
