The "Safari Chair" (KK47000), designed by Kaare Klint, known as the "Father of Danish Design," was released in 1933 and has been cherished as a gem of modern design.

To commemorate the company's 110th anniversary this October, Carl Hansen & Søn is releasing a denim fabric version of this product as a special anniversary model.



This is a Japan-exclusive release, with only 110 units available. The "Safari Chair," composed of 11 parts, features a knockdown construction that allows for assembly and disassembly without any tools. It is known for its lightweight and functional design.

The "Safari Footstool" (KK97170) and "Propeller Stool" (KK87830) are also being released simultaneously in limited-edition denim fabric versions. Enjoy styling them with the Safari Chair. Sales began on Thursday, October 19th, and will continue until the limited quantities are sold out.
