"TOKYO" Proposed by a Long-Standing Swedish Glass Manufacturer and Designer | SKRUF

SKRUF

The subtle variations and thickness unique to glass. All produced by hand-blowing.

Founded in 1897 and based in Småland, southern Sweden, SKRUF is a glass manufacturer with a long history. Its technical prowess, honed over years, captivates designers, leading to various collaborations in recent times.

One such collaboration is with Carina Seth Andersson. Her philosophy of beauty is projected into the clear, colorless glass, resulting in shapes that are both refined and practical. The vase, inspired by the city of Tokyo, can also be used as a candleholder, offering a sense of softness despite being made of glass. It comes in two sizes, large and small. As each piece is hand-blown, there are individual variations.
