Talk Event "Things with Form, Things Without Form" to be Held



As part of the "graf + fresco FAIR" currently underway on the first floor of "Living Motif" in Roppongi, a talk event titled "Things with Form, Things Without Form" will be held on February 11 (Mon, holiday) at 2 PM, featuring Shigeki Hattori and Takashi Matsui of graf, with philosopher Takashi Kurata moderating.

Reservations Now Open for This Unique Tokyo Talk Event



The "graf + fresco FAIR" exhibition, running until February 28 (Thu), showcases everyday tools crafted by artisans from across Japan, including the long-selling SUNAO cutlery series, alongside original furniture designs. Hand-blown glassware from the Osaka-based glass studio fresco is also on display.

The talk event "Things with Form, Things Without Form," scheduled for February 11 (Mon, holiday), will feature philosopher Takashi Kurata, who holds a unique perspective on daily life and folk crafts, alongside graf founding members Hattori and Matsui. They will discuss graf's activities, design, and the essence of living.

Workshop "Understand by Making? The Roots of Tools!" to be Held


Workshops led by graf's furniture craftspeople will be held on February 23 (Sat) starting at 3 PM, and on February 24 (Sun) starting at 10:30 AM and 3 PM. This is an opportunity to closely examine the tools you use daily, consider the reasons and meanings behind their forms, and craft tools that fit your own lifestyle.
