Mintdesigns' Tableware Debuts

From mintdesigns, a fashion brand actively engaged in products beyond apparel—including acrylic clips resembling objets d'art and Japanese sweets in collaboration with the long-established Toraya—comes its first-ever tableware collection. It will be released first at the mintdesigns Garage Store, with plans for domestic and international rollout.

For its Spring/Summer 2013 collection, mintdesigns presented "THE DARKSIDE ISSUE." The collection, featuring an unprecedented key color palette of black and white, was lauded for its refreshing departure from mintdesigns' typically pop aesthetic.

The debut tableware collection features mintdesigns' signature "DOLL" pattern, fired in pure white with subtle gold DOLL accents. Crafted from Fine Bone China by Nikko, a ceramics brand with a century of domestic production history and its main factory in Ishikawa Prefecture, the pure white base—a fusion of beauty and strength—vibrantly reflects the colors of the food served upon it.

The cups, uniquely conical, are perfect for any beverage. The generously sized 20.5cm plates are ideal not only for breakfast or tea time but also serve as stylish accessory trays, complementing any interior. This tableware is a strong contender for Christmas gifts.
