A visual effect like a grid intruding into a disc
Ron Gilad is known for his output that straddles the line between product and object, combining aesthetic playfulness with appropriate materials. His "SURFACE+BORDER NO.1" is a fruit bowl that boldly uses acrylic mirror.
Composed of a surface (mirror) and a border (frame), it creates a mysterious visual effect through the reflection of the objects placed upon it and the frame. While it has an airy, floating appearance, safety is also considered, with thin felt non-slip treatment applied to the part that contacts the table.
Beyond holding fruit, it can be used in various ways, such as for glasses, cups, or candle stands. It is sure to surprise guests and create a festive moment. Made in Italy.
