Oiva Toikka began his career as a designer in the 1950s and has since received numerous prestigious awards. Launched by Finland's iittala in 1964, "Kastehelmi" is his signature collection of glass tableware.

Meaning "dewdrop" in Finnish, the series draws inspiration from the sparkling morning dew, resembling a string of pearls. To align with the company's Spring/Summer 2018 theme, "Floral Affair," the "Kastehelmi" vase has been introduced.
