Saint Louis, Europe's oldest crystal Maison, crafts its paperweights by hand, a tradition born in the mid-19th century that has captivated royalty, writers, and artists alike.

A fusion of Saint Louis's tradition, technique, and creativity.


Using the art of lampworking, Saint Louis has captured the essence of the 2018 zodiac animal, the dog, in this paperweight. Every detail, from the delicate ears and nose to the dark claws, is meticulously crafted, breathing life into the crystal canine.

The playful ball at its feet is inscribed with "SL2018." The pearl-shaped facets on the paperweight's surface lend a dynamic, bouncing energy to the sphere.

This "microcosm," born from the hands of crystal artisans, is a testament to Saint Louis's heritage, skill, and creative spirit.
