Announced for Relaunch at Milan Salone This April: Enzo Mari's Flower Vase | DANESE
DANESE
Stems peeking through slits appear magnified by a lens effect.
Ron Gilad has been appointed director of the product brand Danese. At Milan Salone, the world's largest furniture trade fair held in April this year, Gilad relaunched several works by the master of Italian modern design, Enzo Mari, in addition to designs he himself created.
One of these, "CAMICIA," is a flower vase introduced in 1961. As the name CAMICIA suggests (meaning "shirt"), it features metal parts with various slits that adorn the glass vase as if dressing it. It elevates the parts that would normally be hidden in a regular vase into an aesthetic element. Made in Italy.
