Commercialized After Testing with the Designer's Own Cat

“41st Century,” the DIY label that has garnered attention for its alternative outputs like daypacks and assemble-it-yourself cat tents. Their new product, “#catnicestick,” is based on the concept of a “cat teaser that isn’t disposable, but one that owners can also grow fond of.”

Inspired by the scraps left over from handkerchief production, the aim was to create something that could also function as a hand tool when combined with a natural wood handle. The designer also conducted extensive testing with their own cat, incorporating features like leather parts and brass screws in the joint for added durability. While each piece has individual variations due to the colorful woven fabric, their eye-catching appearance remains consistent. It makes a delightful gift for cat lovers.
