Kids' Glasses, conceived by a Fukuoka-based glass artisan for their own child | Jun Ota
Glass artisan Jun Ota, known for works that blend generosity with simplicity, has released his "Kids Glass" – designed to fit comfortably in a child's hand and to grace an adult's evening drink.
Jun Ota
Its perfect size also makes it ideal for adults to enjoy a small sip of chilled sake.

Born in 1975, Jun Ota is the son of Tetsuzo Ota, a representative potter of Koishiwara ware, and was exposed to folk crafts from a young age. He chose to pursue glasswork instead of pottery, studying Ryukyu glass in Okinawa before establishing his own manufacturing base in Fukuoka Prefecture.
The "Kids Glass" was conceived following the birth of his own child. Retaining the characteristic generosity and simplicity of Ota's work, the glass is proportioned with a thickness, height, and size that fits comfortably in a child's hand. For adults, it's also recommended for enjoying chilled sake.
Compared to typical glassware, it is also more resistant to breakage, making it a glass that can accompany a person from childhood into adulthood.
