A Ceramic Series Weaving Deep Rondine Blue with Subtle Geometric Patterns | Bitossi

Bitossi

A Masterpiece Ceramic Series, "Rimini Blue," Crafted with Artisanal Techniques. Available in Five Items, Including Plates and an Umbrella Stand.

A Timeless Design, Unfaded More Than 60 Years After Its Creation.

Aldo Londi began his career in a pottery workshop at the tender age of 11 in 1922. During World War II, while imprisoned, he dedicated himself to pottery making in a concentration camp. He later exhibited his work at events such as the Milan Triennale and the International Handicrafts Exhibition, and also served as Art Director for Italy's Bitossi company.

The "Rimini Blue" ceramic series, created by Londi, is characterized by its deep blue hue, known as Londi Blue, and the subtle variations in color intensity created by the raised and lowered geometric patterns.

Recently, five new items, including plates and an umbrella stand, have been added to the series. Through a mass-production system that incorporates artisanal techniques, each piece possesses a tactile quality rarely found in mass-produced items and exudes a presence akin to a one-of-a-kind creation.
