This collaboration began when Peter Marino, a longtime admirer of the Varia Collection, used it for his design sketches. Caran d’Ache entrusted Marino with complete creative freedom to design his interpretation of the Varia Collection. The result is a modern, trendy design, much like the architecture he crafts for leading fashion brands worldwide.

Caran d’Ache's Varia Collection is an innovative series that uses exclusive materials while prioritizing design and writing comfort. This limited edition seamlessly harmonizes Marino's signature rock-and-roll style with the writing instruments, making it particularly captivating.

Two Series Unveiled in the "Varia Peter Marino" Collection

In the "Varia Peter Marino Special Edition," the cap is rhodium-plated, creating a striking silver finish. The skull, inlaid with black onyx, evokes the many rings Marino wears. This Special Edition is limited to 150 fountain pens and 150 rollerball pens. Each writing instrument is engraved with a unique number from 1/150. The number 150 is a nod to Marino's Manhattan office address, "150 East 58th Street."
