A Fantastical World Like a Picture Book, Unique Color Sensibility Applied to Products | BJORN WIINBLAD
Bjorn Wiinblad
Endearing Faces Meet Greenery, Bringing Poetic Color to Your Space
Bjorn Wiinblad, known for his diverse work ranging from textiles to stage design and for designing the Takashimaya department store's wrapping paper in the 1970s. It is said that 'every Danish home has at least one of his works,' and his ceramic pieces, in particular, remain so popular that they are highly sought-after collector's items.

A decade after his passing, the Danish design group launched the 'Bjorn Wiinblad' brand. This marks its first arrival in Japan. The single-stem vases and flower pots, with their charming, eye-catching faces, are perfect for casually displaying greenery. They will be available for pre-order starting Friday, March 10th at Illums Umeda, and will be purchasable at Illums stores nationwide from early April.
