Enduring Modernism. Masterpieces by Kaare Klint | CARL HANSEN & SØN
CARL HANSEN & SØN
A Master Educator: The Source of Danish Design
Kaare Klint, who founded the furniture department at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1924, is also known for his dedication to design education. Possessing both innovative ideas and a profound understanding of materials, he is recognized as one of the architects of the golden age of Danish Modernism. Recently, masterpieces designed by Klint in the 1930s and 40s have been added to the CARL HANSEN & SØN collection. These include the dignified "KK48650 Addition Sofa," the knock-down marvel "KK47000 Safari Chair," and the "KK87830 Propeller Stool," which embodies elegance. Classical modernism is masterfully recreated with contemporary craftsmanship. We invite you to experience these pieces firsthand at our showroom.
