First Project: 'The Great Lucky Charm Fair' - Starting December 26
With the aim of 'contributing to regional revitalization across Japan,' select shop BEAMS and Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings have joined forces to launch "STAND FOTRY_SEVEN," a project that will showcase Japan's excellent products and experiences. This initiative aims to introduce projects, inherited techniques, and their depth and appeal from all 47 prefectures, which remain largely unknown, through a new lens. Ahead of its full launch in March 2017, the 'Great Lucky Charm Fair' will be held starting December 26.

Unique Ideas Only BEAMS and Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Can Offer
The year-end and New Year period is a time when interest in lucky charms peaks, imbued with hopes for the coming year. To wish for a wonderful 2017, the 'Great Lucky Charm Fair,' introducing lucky charms through a fresh perspective, will be held at four locations: Isetan Shinjuku, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, Ginza Mitsukoshi, and BEAMS JAPAN.
Among the featured products are beckoning cats designed by Lisa Larson, a representative Swedish ceramic artist, and manufactured in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture. Also on display are Kokeshi dolls from Iwate, showcasing the nostalgic charm of artist Yusuke Hanai's creativity, and Sukajan jackets adorned with lucky charm embroidery by Keita Maruyama, among other items.
Furthermore, a stamp rally will be held at the four participating stores during the event period. The first 200 customers who purchase eligible items at all stores will receive a tote bag, a collaboration between BEAMS JAPAN and Isetan Mitsukoshi for the 'Great Lucky Charm Fair'.
Why not embrace the coming year with good fortune while experiencing Japan's traditions and craftsmanship?
