Two Dutch Designs Unite
Born in 1999, the Bugaboo brand has rapidly evolved over a decade and is now sold in over 50 countries. This year also saw the establishment of its Japanese subsidiary. Bugaboo has previously collaborated with Missoni, Marc Jacobs, Paul Frank, and Bass Coasters, earning worldwide support from parents raising children due to its high fashion appeal. The latest release is a stroller designed by Viktor & Rolf, known for their avant-garde yet elegant fashion that garners significant attention at Paris Fashion Week. This limited edition model is based on the new Cameleon³ model, set to launch in September.
The customized stroller features a monochromatic gray finish, with the chassis and style evoking the design of classic sports cars of yesteryear.
The handlebar is easily adjustable and can be switched.
The rear silver alloy wheels bear a special Viktor & Rolf emblem, and the back of the footmuff and carrycot are adorned with a charmingly humorous "bb♥V&R" plate. It's a stroller that exudes the maison's signature elegance.
Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, the designers behind Viktor & Rolf, reflect on this collaboration: "It was a very creative and challenging experience that pushed us beyond our usual design boundaries. It proved how interesting it is to see things from a different perspective. We love to transform things in design, incorporating a touch of humor and an unexpected twist." To be so close to the creativity at the forefront of Paris Fashion Week from such an early age... Could this child be a future creator?
