Made in Tsubame with 18-8 Stainless Steel, Ideal for Cutlery

Onkar Kular Singh is an emerging British designer who tackles contemporary social issues through conceptual design. His "70% Cutlery" serves as a wake-up call to modern individuals accustomed to meals that merely satisfy hunger quickly. The concept is embodied in its design: a spoon with holes, a knife with chipped teeth, and a fork with missing sections.

By dining with "flawed" cutlery, users become more conscious of the actions involved in bringing food to their mouths, naturally slowing down by 30%. This encourages a more leisurely dining experience. The material is "18-8 stainless steel," composed of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, known for its aesthetic appeal and durability. Crafted in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, a major hub for metalworking, it also boasts reliable quality.
