The "Umbrella Style! Bon Bon Store Umbrellas 2015" exhibition, held at Isetan Shinjuku Main Building 1F, Ladies' Accessories/Umbrellas, introduces classic shades of grey, red, pink, white, blue, and black watch, alongside new colors: olive and black-and-white check. The collection proposes styling that celebrates the expressive power of color.

Designer Yuko Ibe shares, "This time, we're focusing solely on color variations, deliberately avoiding prints. I always place great importance on coordinating with clothing, considering factors like hair color and length, and skin tone. Color is fascinating; it can uplift or calm the mood, create excitement or melancholy, evoking a wide range of emotions."

The collection features colors that evoke autumn fashion: "Grey," as chic as the autumn sky; "Red," making women look beautiful and striking; "White," designed to harmonize everything; "Blue," reminiscent of the sea, sky, and earth; the popular Bon Bon Store classic "Black Watch"; and the new "Olive" and "Black-and-White Check."

The designer's dedication to umbrellas

Bon Bon Store's color umbrellas feature handles made from chestnut wood. Ibe explains, "The charm of the wood handle is how its color deepens with use. The ferrule at the tip of the umbrella is also chestnut; it's water-resistant, but unfortunately, it's vulnerable to strong impacts like drops." Furthermore, the material is a high-density nylon woven in Japan, which results in "a truly wonderful sound of rain!"
