Viva, Impulse Buys!

Yuka Sato, who is curating the "CRAZY KIOSK" impulse buy shop, is from Tokyo and works as a buyer for method, a collective of specialists in goods.

Regarding CRAZY KIOSK, Sato says, "To buy on impulse, right then and there, because you simply want that item. No hesitation, no deliberation, no cooling off at home to think it over. That's impulse buying. Let's take home what we want right now, for ourselves or for someone else. Viva, impulse buys."

Yu Yamada recommends: "Her selection and individuality, born from her constant vigilance and city patrols for everything from fashion and design to stationery, toys, cosmetics, household goods, food, and even everyday convenience store items, are different from mine, yet they represent another facet of method. Please enjoy."

The fixture design is by Kenji Nishio of "DAYS.," who designs and produces furniture and interiors while moving between desks and workshops based in spatial design. The logo design by the creative group "Bob Foundation," by Mitsunori and Hiromi Asakura, is also a highlight.
