The 2015 "PETLY" model evolves with enhanced functionality.

Feeding pets the right amount of food at regular intervals each day helps prevent overeating and gorging, contributing to their overall health.—Last year, the "PETLY" automatic feeder for cats and small dogs was unveiled, generating buzz with its concept that overturned conventional ideas about pet products.

Its simple design blends seamlessly with interiors, and operation is as easy as turning and pressing a dial. It can dispense food one to four times a day, in increments of 5g up to a maximum of 50g per feeding, making it ideal for pets left alone or for managing their weight.

Despite its compact design, it achieves high airtightness to prevent food odors from escaping. The food tank can store approximately 1kg of dry food and is washable. An LED light indicates when the food or battery levels are low. As product defects can directly impact a pet's health, RINN insists on Japanese manufacturing, with each "PETLY" unit meticulously crafted in Nagano Prefecture.

The 2015 model features an improved food tray shape, a program to prevent accidental operation by pets, and more precise feeding time settings every 30 minutes, making it even more user-friendly.

RINN, the company behind "PETLY," is launching the alternative lifestyle magazine "MILL" this autumn, with a focus on cat-related content throughout. While cats are featured or related to all content, the magazine proposes a sophisticated lifestyle—encompassing interiors, people, and sweets—through its unique pages.

The official launch is scheduled for October 2015, but a preview issue will be distributed as a free paper starting July 14 (Tuesday) at Daikanyama T-Site, Futako Tamagawa T-Site, Umeda T-Site, Standard Bookstore Shinsaibashi, and Kobunsha Ichijoji Store. The content is designed to appeal not only to cat lovers but also to those interested in interior design. The content from the free paper will also be gradually released on the official website.
