A manufacturer of marine lamps has introduced incandescent bulbs, modified in wattage and base diameter for interior use, that were originally designed as saury fishing lights for use on boats. These are now available at 'doinel' in Gaienmae.

A 'Bare Bulb' Lamp That Offers a Rediscovery of Beauty and Brightness

A large, elongated bulb. Its beautiful form and the transparency of the glass give it a presence that could stand alone as an objet d'art.—Simply placing this bulb on a shelf, like a flower, creates an artistic display, and of course, it performs its original function flawlessly.

Suitable for professional use (as a fish-attracting lamp), its structure offers approximately 1.5 times the durability of a standard household bulb. Its larger volume also reduces the risk of heat degradation. With a lifespan of 1500 hours (compared to 1000 hours for standard household bulbs), it offers excellent cost performance.

Typically, bulbs of this size use a double filament to fit compactly within. However, because these are made for fishing boats, considering vibration resistance and durability, they feature a single, atmospheric filament.

Additionally, doinel is also selling 'socket cords with hanging ceiling mounts' designed to be used with the lamps.
