Remodeling Design by Kenzo Tange and Tomoyasu Morita

The remodeling of this high-culture floor, designed to evoke the birth of a new sensibility, was led by architect Kenzo Tange and interior designer Tomoyasu Morita.

Morita explains, "In recent years, the criteria for happiness for residents have gradually shifted, and living is evolving from the simple act of 'residing' to the concept of 'enjoying.' We view the living room as a place that fosters such culture, and we've visualized a highly cultured environment in the floor's design with a 'high culture' concept.

On the 5th floor's living area, which is based on white, we focused on a design that encourages ample communication between staff and customers, rather than just selling products, creating a 'place for people to gather' and a 'place for consultation,'" he says.

The "Park" Spreads Out from the Escalator Hall

The "Park," occupying the center of the 5th-floor living area, is a space that proposes new ways of living. It will continuously feature exclusive events introducing emerging creators who are not widely known, as well as rare items not easily found in Japan. In addition to the central "Center Park," pay close attention to the "East Park" and "West Park," which showcase displays related to adjacent areas.

The Main Building's East Area is "Living Personal"

"Living Personal" offers a lineup of essential living tools and items for ultimate relaxation, ranging from furniture to desk accessories, home appliances, pet goods, and plants. Furthermore, professional interior coordinators will provide enhanced advice and services. This area focuses on providing detailed information and services.

The Main Building's West Area is "Kitchen & Dining"

It features a wide selection of table and kitchen accessories, linens, and highly functional new standard tableware and cookware. The Main Building's South Area is "Bed Bath Powder"
