Carl Hansen & Søn has produced and sold the "Y Chair" without interruption since 1950, in collaboration with the master designer Hans J. Wegner. To commemorate its 70th anniversary, the company is releasing a new specification of the "Y Chair" with a matte finish, the "CH24 SOFT."

Hans J. Wegner designed over 500 chairs in his lifetime. Many might immediately think of the "Y Chair" when his name comes to mind.

Its beautifully simple structure, combined with a seat made of paper cord (approximately 120 meters), has been loved worldwide since its launch in 1950.

To celebrate its 70th anniversary, a new specification with a matte finish, the "CH24 SOFT," will be released on Saturday, June 20th.

The frame is available in five colors. Using water-based paint that is gentle on people and the environment, the matte finish creates a soft texture within its dignified form, harmonizing with various interior spaces.

The sales period is until Sunday, November 1st.
