MOEBE

A Ceramic Pendant Lamp with Freely Adjustable Shades

Based in Copenhagen, MOEBE is a design studio that creates products, furniture, and interiors. This spring, they are releasing their first lighting item, guided by the belief that "good design is sustainable in itself." This pursuit of meticulous structure and minimalism, without compromise, is embodied in their new creation. Let's explore this lighting piece, named "Ceramic Pendant."

MOEBE, founded in 2015, is a design studio comprising architect Martin de Neergaard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd, and furniture craftsman Anders Thams.
Their defining characteristic is their "architectural thinking," which forms the basis for their consistently simple yet beautiful designs.
On April 20, 2020, MOEBE released their first lighting item, the "Ceramic Pendant."
The shade is crafted from unglazed ceramic with a matte texture, and each piece is handmade, allowing for enjoyment of individual variations.
Furthermore, because the cord is not fixed to the shade, it can be moved left and right to freely adjust the angle and direction of the light. These details truly showcase their meticulous structure and minimalism.
Available in two sizes, Narrow and Wide, consider using them individually or combining several for a multi-light arrangement to create various expressions.
