An Event to Experience "Design and Ideas for the Future"
"Any Tokyo 2013: Design & Idea" to be Held
Products, fashion, interiors, architecture, robotics, communication—What is "design that brings innovation to life"? The new design event "Any Tokyo" will showcase everything from products already in production to prototypes nearing implementation, and art that inspires. It aims to present designs that have the potential to enhance our capabilities, create excellent business models, raise social issues, challenge problem-solving, and enrich our lives.

Encounter New Talent That Makes the World More Interesting
Previous design events often focused on interiors and products. "Any Tokyo," on the other hand, centers on works and creators from genres that were difficult to categorize within existing frameworks, with the theme of delivering the new inspirations that all kinds of designs and ideas bring to our lives to a wider audience.
The theme for the inaugural Any Tokyo 2013 is "New Vector," pursuing designs and ideas that possess the power to transform our lives, much like natural evolution. Any Tokyo does not focus on the latest or the cutting-edge; instead, it offers proposals for experiencing and sharing "designs and ideas for the future" that will newly integrate into our lives and create new value.
