An artful bookstand crafted from wood offcuts | Michael Marriott
Michael Marriott
Crafted from offcuts, its tactile warmth speaks of thoughtful material use and the artisan's touch.
Recognized as one of Britain's foremost designers, Michael Marriott is known among his peers as a 'designer's designer'.
His self-produced work, the 'Offcut Book Stand', is now available in Japan. Crafted in Marriott's workshop from the remnants of prototype and one-off piece production, these bookstands can be used to display books and magazines, or simply as decorative objects.
Each piece is unique, with variations in material, color, and balance, allowing for a truly personal arrangement.
