CURATOR’S CUBE
Focus on Works Reflecting the Artist's Generosity and DIY Spirit
George Peterson, who learned woodworking and sculpture through self-study and became an artist a quarter-century ago, is now known as a leading woodturner (an artist who uses a wood lathe). From October 7 (Saturday), his third "George Peterson Circle Factory" exhibition will be held at the gallery space "CURATOR’S CUBE" in Nishi-Shimbashi, Tokyo.

Shapes and Traces Born from Dialogue with Wood—Unveiled After Two Years
George Peterson presides over the studio "Circle Factory" in Asheville, North Carolina, USA, where he creates wood bowls, sculptures, and more. With a background as a skater, he also produces wall objects using discarded skateboards.
This exhibition marks its third showing, returning after two years. The venue will feature increasingly refined bowls and stools, as well as sculptures that richly reflect the artist's emotions. You are sure to be captivated by the organic forms. This is a must-see.
