Hans J. Wegner, the great Danish designer. His "CH22" lounge chair, designed in 1950, is characterized by its distinctive arms and low, paper-cord seat. Faithfully reproduced with the same assembly, finishing, and upholstery techniques as when it was first launched, it is scheduled for release in Japan at the end of May 2016.



Also released concurrently is the "CH26," a phantom chair developed around the same time that was never produced and for which no prototypes exist. Both chairs showcase Wegner's rare talent in their construction and use of wood, as well as their excellent ergonomic comfort. Several finishes are available. The paper cord seat can be chosen in natural or black, and the backrest inlay can be selected from oak or walnut.
