Born from the concept, "What if superheroes were corrupt, abusive jerks who wielded their power irresponsibly?" this is a unique work. From the hit drama "The Boys," which depicts the battle between the superhero team "The Seven" and the vigilante group "The Boys" formed to stand up to them, Billy Butcher is now available as a fully articulated action figure in the "MAFEX" series.

The setting is a world where superheroes, managed by corporations, are active. "The Seven," a team of seven of the strongest heroes belonging to the major corporation Vought International and reigning at the apex of the hero industry, are revered by the public as pop icons. However, some among them are consumed by selfish desires and fame. The protagonist of the story is Hughie Campbell, an ordinary young man who lost his girlfriend in an incident involving superhero activities. He becomes a member of a group called "The Boys" and confronts the corrupt superheroes.

The television drama series "The Boys," adapted from Garth Ennis's comic of the same name, is a massive hit. Billy Butcher, the leader of "The Boys," possesses no superpowers but is a former special forces operative. Driven by a desire for revenge for his wife, who was taken by Homelander of "The Seven," he despises superheroes and seeks to expose their dark side.

Following the "MAFEX HOMELANDER" scheduled for release in November 2021, "MAFEX WILLIAM "BILLY" BUTCHER" will be the second MAFEX release from "The Boys." The figure faithfully reproduces his rugged appearance and conveys his foul-mouthed, aggressive personality seen in the series. The coat is made of fabric and allows for a variety of poses. It includes two interchangeable head parts, as well as weapon parts such as a rifle and corresponding wrist parts. Furthermore, it even comes with a "Laser Baby" that can recreate the attack scene using a baby that shoots lasers from its eyes. This is a must-have item that will make the upcoming Season 3 release even more anticipated.
