Ceramic Aroma Diffuser

The documentary film "colette, mon amour," chronicling the final days of the beloved Parisian concept store "colette" before its closure after 20 years, will be screened for a limited two-week run starting September 26th (Saturday) at White Cinequinto (Shibuya PARCO 8F).

Opened in 1997 on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris by Colette Roussaux and her daughter Sarah Andelman, "colette" was the world's first concept store. It offered a diverse range of products and championed cross-industry collaborations, establishing the concept store model in France and serving as a hub for emerging designers and artists. This film offers a rare glimpse inside colette in its final days, featuring interviews with notable figures connected to the store, including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Virgil Abloh, NIGO®, and Chitose Abe of sacai, exploring colette's profound impact on the fashion industry.

To commemorate this occasion, a collaborative model of the "BE@RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENT" will be released. The "BE@RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENT No.2G colette mon amour" is a ceramic aroma diffuser shaped like a seated BE@RBRICK. Simply apply two to three drops of the specially blended essential oil onto the ornament itself. The ears are rendered in colette's signature blue, and the body features logos and illustrations related to the film "COLETTE, MON AMOUR."

To celebrate the release of the film "colette, mon amour," a pop-up event will be held at "2G" in Shibuya PARCO from Saturday, September 26th to Sunday, October 11th. Items curated by "HIGHSNOBIETY," a Berlin-based men's online media outlet that co-produced the film, and MEDICOM TOY's original textile project "FABRICK," will be available.

The collection features playful items such as tote bags and backpacks made from colette's signature blue fabric. We want to feel the history of colette—a store that established the concept store format in France, where department stores were the norm for shopping, and discovered emerging designers and artists—in our daily lives.
