Bold Compositions and Graceful Curves
Born as an artisan workshop in Meda, north of Milan—a major furniture-producing region in Lombardy—Minotti carries on this tradition. The 2015 new collection, themed "The Ultimate Balance Between Contemporary Design and Classic Modernism," under the direction of Rodolfo Dordoni, presented pieces that were chic and rigorous, yet never lacking in surprising elements, evoking unexpected stimulation. This collection showcased a further evolution of the brand's identity.
The new collection is developed from the rationality symbolized by the modern architectural movement, drawing inspiration from a more dynamic architectural perspective and the sensual forms of plastic. The two new sofa collections, "YANG" and "SEYMOUR," both designed by Dordoni, possess strong individual characters and embody complementary visions, despite their contrasting elements.
The "Yang" collection is a sofa system born from the assembly of geometric, rigorous volumes, capable of creating diverse relaxation areas through its modularity and accessories. Characterized by youthfulness and boldness, it allows for original, daring compositions. Its versatility is further expanded by combining it with elements like side tables.
In contrast, "Seymour" expresses "classic" with a modern approach, through its soft shapes and supple curves. While maintaining rigorous forms, it achieves an elegant silhouette by combining the freedom of curves with soft, enveloping volumes. Its sensual beauty evokes a feminine image. In addition to straight and corner configurations, a reversible chaise longue version was also introduced.

These two new sofa collections, which achieve "contemporary design x classic modern" while maintaining high quality, are born from unparalleled tradition and Dordoni's expertise. The sofas, created through research and development reflecting Italy's traditional craftsmanship and contemporary lifestyles, bring surprise and emotion to the world.
