An Identity Born and Raised Under the Valencian Sun
Valencia, a magnificent city on the Mediterranean coast, blessed with sunshine for 300 days a year. Viccarbe, born and raised here, is known for its simple yet sophisticated creations that feel like a gentle breeze. This philosophy, which permeates their new works, is the fruit of creative dialogue between founder, CEO, and designer Victor Carrasco, and designers active on the global stage.

Design That Lives for Today, With an Eye on the Future
Amidst the many booths, one shone with exceptional brightness. The phrase "Designed in the Valencian sun" offered a clue to its radiance.
We, the life on Earth, are born from sunlight. This light illuminates the nature surrounding us and the objects in our daily lives, revealing a myriad of differences. Viccarbe's collections are designed and realized in Valencia, a Mediterranean city where the sun shines for over 300 days a year. The subtle color shifts and warm textures, reflecting the gentle, sweet sun of the Mediterranean, are the very essence of Viccarbe's identity.
The new collection, along with existing ones, offers a diverse range of color and model combinations. Beyond functionality, the choice extends from bright hues to elegant and neutral tones, allowing for the creation of visual harmony and relaxation within any space.
Viccarbe's working style, which brings these collections to life, is truly "Valencian." Through cheerful and engaging Mediterranean interactions and communication, the brand's spirit is infused into its products.
"The way we work is the Valencian lifestyle itself. So, we share meals and talk earnestly while we work. We believe that business is made by people," says CEO Victor Carrasco.
This year, new variations have been added to the collections by Jean Marie Massaud, Piero Lissoni, and Victor Carrasco. It is also welcome news that the "NAGI" armchair, designed by young Japanese designer Tomoya Tabuchi, has been unveiled.
A New Piece from Japanese Designer Tomoya Tabuchi
The development of "NAGI" began when an idea proposed by Tomoya Tabuchi during last year's Salone del Mobile caught Carrasco's eye, leading to its unveiling at this year's event.
"I started brainstorming with the specific request, 'We need a chair that can be used in lobbies or relaxation areas.' The keywords became 'high-back rocking chair.' The idea of combining these two functions was intriguing, so development began. The backrest became significantly higher than the initial concept, eventually evolving into a shape that fully envelops the head. The dialogue with Viccarbe, who refines products with such speed, was stimulating," says Tabuchi.
Through dialogue with renowned designers from around the world, and influenced by diverse cultures, Viccarbe translates varied global perspectives and visions into products imbued with the Mediterranean breeze. Their consistent creation of highly original collections, linked by the invisible thread of the Viccarbe brand, represents a design style that lives for today while embracing the future.
