PERFECT SPACE Curtain Shop, an online specialist in curtains, has begun handling lace curtains with antibacterial treatment.

Lace curtains traditionally regulate light and protect privacy, but with today's emphasis on ventilation, they also act as a "home mask," filtering out pollen, dust, and bacteria from outside while allowing air exchange.

Like masks, lace curtains prevent the intrusion of bacteria from outdoors, but they can accumulate bacteria themselves. To address this concern, PERFECT SPACE Curtain Shop, an online specialist, has launched "Antibacterial and Antiviral Lace Curtains - Family Guard."

These curtains feature SEK processing, which reduces the count of specific viruses (Influenza A virus, Norovirus) on the fabric. In tests, after applying viruses to both treated and untreated fabric samples and leaving them for two hours at 25°C, the viral count on the treated fabric was reduced by 99.9%.

SEK processing is a certification mark indicating that the product meets the standards set by the Textile Evaluation Technology Council. The curtains also offer flame retardancy and 60% UV cut, allowing for appropriate light intake while blocking ultraviolet rays.
