The Potential of Glass as an Interface for Information
AGC Inc. exhibited at Milan Salone for the first time. Under the theme "GLACIER FORMATION," they presented a spatial installation using new products "Glascene™" and "infoverre™," proposing a new relationship between information and space through glass that overturns conventional digital signage concepts.

"Glass with Information" Illuminated by Light
A space with 100 panes of glass arranged across approximately 200㎡.—Of these, 48 panes were the screen glass "Glascene™," which clearly displays images from projectors. The installation was produced using 7 projectors, 30 modular LEDs, 3 LED floodlights, and 10 vibration speakers.
Glascene™ is screen glass that enables image projection onto transparent glass. By arranging it meticulously and dynamically, it creates a new visual space that blends the texture of glass with its inherent properties of transparency and reflection.
Images generated in real-time from various video archives and records, layered like a glacier, were projected. The "glass with information," illuminated by light, suggests a new way of defining the distance and position between people and information, which are loosely connected, and appeals to the new possibilities of glass as an environment.
Experience an Unpredictable, Mysterious Space
AGC Inc. fuses its long-cultivated technologies in glass and chemistry to meet the needs of various fields, including digital signage. The "Glascene™" and "infoverre™" products, which display clear and beautiful images, exhibited at Milan Salone this time, were born from the concept of transforming glass used in building exteriors and interiors into "stylish information dissemination platforms."
In this exhibition, emerging creators at the forefront of innovation, well-versed in the know-how of using glass in architecture, created a new world woven from glass and information. Norihisa Kawashima and Keika Sato of ARTENVARCH, who handled the spatial design, commented, "Our theme was to create a glacial space with glass and information. By navigating this space, created using the properties of glass to transmit and reflect light along with its function of projecting and displaying information, visitors can experience a new relationship with information."
Yutaka Endo of LUFTZUG, who directed the production and visual design, explained the concept: "We express a dynamic world based on information focused on people, using a vast number of pieces, projected into the space through video and light. We expect visitors to experience the distance and positioning between people and information, which are nested and loosely connected, and through this, to create space for thought and emotion."
