A Dining Table That Evokes a Deep Sense of Materiality
"MALTA" is a dining table designed by Naoto Fukasawa, first released in 2013. Since its launch, there have been many requests for tables with large solid wood tops. This year, it features an iron beam (support) to prevent the oak top, exceeding three meters in length, from warping, and has been released with iron legs measuring 48.6mm in diameter, matching the black iron beam.
The contrast between the solid wood and black steel enhances the appeal of the solid wood top. Instead of repeating the same grain patterns in the joints, the wood pieces are skillfully combined, highlighting the distinct material qualities of each. The tables are available in widths from 1800mm to 3200mm, allowing you to choose the perfect size for your preferences, needs, and space.
A Simple Bench That Doesn't Obstruct the View
A new basic version has been added to the "Botan" bench designed by Jasper Morrison. This backless bench, accessible from both sides, features a simple design that doesn't obstruct the line of sight, allowing it to blend naturally into various indoor and outdoor public spaces.
