At this year's Milan Salone, Canon, in collaboration with two emerging creators, artist Kota Takahashi and architect Akihisa Hirata, presented an unprecedented experiential visual space that brought together Canon's comprehensive digital imaging capabilities to awaken new sensibilities. An Experiential Visual Space "Kagayaki" Overflowing with Light and Color, Intersecting and Merging

Since the 2008 Milan Salone, Canon, a digital imaging company, has been creating "a world of new sensibilities" – "NEOREAL" – with Japan's emerging creators.
The exhibition, where visitors can experience Canon's product and technological strengths in the field of imaging, has received increasingly high praise with each iteration.
The title of this year's work is "prism liquid."
The space, composed of polyhedrons, shines with a kaleidoscope of colors like a prism.

The light shimmers like water, transforming into various shapes as it flows.
A new world of visual expression, where colorful light images created by Kota Takahashi are projected onto Akihisa Hirata's organic, life-like structure (approx. 6m high, 8m wide, 40m deep) composed of spirally layered polyhedral screens.—This was realized through Canon's digital imaging technology. Footage shot with a digital SLR camera is projected in a multitude of colors onto numerous polyhedral screens using 21 power projectors.
