A Dramatic Feast of Crystal
Since its founding in 1764, Baccarat, a luxury crystal brand, has upheld and shone as a symbol of France's proud tradition of "art de vivre" (the art of living). This Milan Salone exhibition fully conveyed its allure.
At the center of the venue, the Church of San Carpoforo, a "Zenith Chandelier, 84 Lights, Clear & Red" and iconic Baccarat pieces such as Harcourt, Mille Nuits, and Vega were arranged, evoking an altar. This created a breathtakingly luxurious space.
Furthermore, settings evoking a bar counter, living room, and bathroom were arranged. Chandeliers emitting timeless radiance, the "Saint Clock" specially reissued for the 250th anniversary, and the unique "Harcourt Chess Game" by design office nendowere among the works displayed, all crafted with Baccarat's superior artisanal skill.
The contrast between the church's austere stone walls and the brilliant crystal was overwhelmingly beautiful, and guests were captivated by the enchanting atmosphere.
Commemorative Exhibition Also Held in Paris
The Baccarat 250th Anniversary Exhibition "Baccarat Les 250 ans," showcasing numerous historical masterpieces by Baccarat, is currently being held at the gallery museum of "Baccarat Maison Paris" until January 24, 2015.
