A Transparent Sculpture Adorned with Brilliance
This year's Milan Salone marks a new collaboration between Tokujin Yoshioka's design and GLAS ITALIA's innovative cutting techniques. The "PRISM glass chair" is crafted from thick, high-transparency glass, with faceted cuts applied to the surface to create a prism-like, transparent radiance.
The chair creates an intriguing expression through the refraction of light, appearing as a sculpture adorned with brilliance. This piece will be presented as the PRISM series, alongside the new "PRISM mirror table."
In addition to the "PRISM glass chair," Tokujin Yoshioka has also designed a collection of stools and side tables for Italian company Kartell"SPARKLE"called "SPARKLE," and the cosmic table "Agravic."
