Charity Event Held During Milan Salone
From April 15th (Fri) to 17th (Sun), during the Milan Salone, a design event to support disaster-stricken areas will be held at 'Spazio Corso Como 9' in Milan. Initiated by Japanese residents in Milan, the event, titled 'Charity Box EMERGENCY PROJECT FOR JAPAN' (organized by non-profit Rizolà della Speranza, supported by the Consulate General of Japan in Milan), aims to provide aid to those affected by the disaster.

Exhibition Linking Artwork Display and Fundraising
The Great East Japan Earthquake, which caused immense damage to the Tohoku region of Japan,Great East Japan Earthquakeprompted the creation of 'Charity Box EMERGENCY PROJECT FOR JAPAN' by individuals wanting to 'do something for their distant homeland.' This support event features an exhibition of 58 donation boxes designed by internationally active Japanese and foreign designers who have the disaster-stricken areas in their hearts. Donations will be accepted at the venue.
The funds raised through this donation drive will be sent directly to Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures
via the Italian organization INSIEME PER LA FRATERNITA' Onlus (www.onlusinsieme.altervista.org).
