The development concept is to achieve both "maximum gentleness on the skin" and "maximum closeness," which were previously thought to be contradictory.──Braun is releasing its first flagship model in eight years, the "Braun Series 9," which achieves both gentleness on the skin and a close shave, in early November.

The Braun Series 9, the first new flagship since the Series 7 launched in 2006, is Braun's pinnacle model, embodying 60 years of shaving expertise.
The Series 9 features the new "Intelligent Sonic Adaptation" technology. Two specially designed trimmers lift and cut hairs from all directions, including flat-lying hairs and those growing in various directions. By reliably capturing hairs from the root and enabling a closer shave with fewer strokes than ever before, it delivers a gentle shaving experience.
It also incorporates "Turbo Sonic Technology," which uses 10,000 sonic vibrations per minute to automatically adapt to beard density, capturing more hairs in a single stroke by vibrating the skin, and a "Flex Motion Head" that conforms to every facial contour.
