Air conditioners dry out rooms and stir up dust. Combustion heaters like kerosene stoves and gas fan heaters pollute the air with harmful gases. Oil heaters take too long to warm a room.—BALMUDA's SmartHeater2, winner of the 2014 Good Design Award, overcomes these weaknesses of conventional heaters.


The SmartHeater2 uses a proprietary aluminum radiator system that gently warms the entire room without oil. It operates silently, without stirring dust, and without combustion, thus not polluting the air. Compared to oil heaters, it boasts a startup speed approximately five times faster and achieves precise temperature control without waste. Through convection and radiant heat, it quietly warms not just the air, but the entire room.

Notably, it features a Royal Sleep Mode designed for sleeping. When activated, it begins operating at the optimal temperature for sleep and automatically adjusts to reach 20°C by the time of waking, supporting high-quality sleep and a comfortable awakening.


Furthermore, the SmartHeater2 offers a 10% improvement in heating performance over previous models. The Wi-Fi model (exclusive to the BALMUDA online store), compatible with the UniAuto management app, is the first heater that can be turned on via smartphone.

UniAuto, which also supports devices like the Rain evaporative humidifier, allows users to check operating status, turn the unit on/off, set timers, and change temperature settings and modes via smartphone. The latest version update now includes electricity cost display functionality. An Android version is being released simultaneously and free of charge, alongside the iPhone version.
