Introducing a Noodle Maker Set to Transform Japanese Dining

The "Philips Noodle Maker" is a revolutionary appliance that replicates the authentic noodle-making process, allowing you to easily create udon, soba, ramen, and pasta at home. It claims to produce authentic fresh noodles in just three simple steps: "Add flour," "Press the button," and "Add ingredients like water and eggs." The astonishing part is that this process takes a mere 10 minutes.

Perfect Fresh Noodles in Just 10 Minutes

Philips' research indicates that 90% of Japanese people eat noodles at least once a week, with approximately one in four consuming them five times a week. However, only 3% currently attempt to make noodles at home. The newly announced Noodle Maker eliminates the hassle of handmade noodles, allowing for easy creation of delicious fresh noodles using common household ingredients, and simplifying the post-use cleanup process.

The machine fully automates the entire process from water distribution and kneading to dough preparation and extrusion, producing 1 to 4 servings of noodles at a time. The entire process takes approximately 10 minutes. By extruding the dough in three stages, approximately 720 kilograms of pressure is applied, resulting in firm, chewy noodles.

The main unit is equipped with a "Chewiness Adjustment Function" that allows you to control the dough's consistency and the noodles' firmness. The basic setting is 5 minutes, but by pressing the Chewiness Adjustment Function button, you can extend the time up to 8 minutes to suit your preference. Furthermore, beyond standard noodles, you can also enjoy customized fresh noodles by adding ingredients like eggs, spices, herbs, or vegetable juices.

Four types of noodle caps are included, tailored for the Japanese market. Simply by swapping the caps, you can create noodles of different shapes and thicknesses, including square-cut, flat, and round noodles. The original recipe book included with the product was developed with advice from Nissin Foods Holdings Co., Ltd. It features 13 noodle recipes detailing the making process, along with 36 recipes for various noodle dishes, making homemade noodle making even more enjoyable.

With a footprint comparable to a standard electric kettle, the Noodle Maker doesn't take up much space. Just as Philips created a new category with its "Airfryer - the healthier way to fry," this product is poised to make a significant impact on culinary culture.
