Crafting Ambiance with Color
With Philips hue and a mobile device, you can create your preferred colors, control your home lighting remotely while away, or set timers to gradually brighten your room for a gentle wake-up. The system supports over 16 million colors through combinations of RGB color models, allowing for diverse applications across various aspects of daily life.
Philips has integrated its proprietary "Light Recipes" function into the dedicated app, developed through research into the biological effects of light on the human body. Users can select lighting presets for four scenarios – "Relax," "Read," "Concentrate," and "Energize" – to suit their needs, fostering a closer connection between daily life and illumination.
The starter set includes three LED lamps, a bridge, a power adapter for the bridge, and a LAN cable, allowing for immediate use upon unboxing. Internationally, over 30 third-party applications have already been developed for Philips hue, offering increasingly unique ways to utilize the system beyond its core functions. While providing 600 lumens of brightness, equivalent to a 50W incandescent bulb, it achieves 80% energy savings compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, making it an item that expands the possibilities of lighting and space.
